Before moving to Texas, Andrea served as a municipal attorney for the City of Chicago, where she gained valuable trial experience defending police misconduct cases involving false arrest, false imprisonment, excessive force, and wrongful death. Andrea tried cases to verdict in administrative hearings, state court, and federal court. She also served as a part-time arbitrator on a three-arbitrator panel for small civil cases and is a Certified Mediator and Arbitrator through Mediators & Arbitrators of America, a division of Austin Texas Mediators LLC.
Andrea has expanded her practice to include labor and employment matters, including advising and counseling clients, labor arbitrations, and investigations involving workplace complaints. She has parlayed this experience and passion for labor and employment into a thriving docket and intends to continue expanding this practice.
